The belt ranking structure on the right is what the Zentokukai organization follows. Please note that we have Adult ranks (Senior Kyu Rank and Dan Rank) and Adolesence ranks (Junior Kyu Rank). With the exception of the plain white belt, there is a certificate (Shosho) given out for each level preceeded by a promotional test. Test are offered 4 times a year (March, June, Sept, and December). There is no requirement to take each test, the list above only reflects when the test are offered. One could be 6 months between test or years between a test, it just a matter of performance, attitude, knowledge, etc.
